Willy Brandt on Tour

The touring exhibition “Willy Brandt – Freiheitskämpfer, Friedenskanzler, Brückenbauer” showed Willy Brandt´s life and political work on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his chancellorship. Willy Brandt always stood up for freedom, peace, democracy and justice. Internally, he dared more democracy, brought about change with his Ostpolitik through rapprochement and the deepening of the European community, two of the major projects of the first social democratic Federal Chancellor. He also set accents through his advocacy of environmental protection and global solidarity.
