Digital Workshops

In the field of education and mediation, the foundation is developing an online offer to explore contemporary history from home or on the go. The Willy-Brandt-Haus Lübeck is currently offering two digital workshops:

Workshop I: Die Weiße Rose – Widerstand im Nationalsozialismus

While focussing on the activities of the “White Rose”, this interactive online workshop for school classes also looks at other forms of resistance against the National Socialist dictatorship.

This 90-minutes long free workshop will be held on the Jitsi Meet platform by the German Resistance Memorial Center Berlin. The memorial is the central place in the Federal Republic of Germany, where the women and men of the resistance against National Socialism are remembered.

Workshop II: Perspektivwechsel – Willy Brandt und die Berliner Mauer

This approximately 45-minutes long quiz is an offer for school classes from grade 10 onwards. It can be carried out digitally as well as analog in the exhibition. In order to get in the right mood for the historical context, it is possible to combine the game with an overview lecture on Willy Brandt’s Ostpolitik.

“Willy Brandt and the Berlin Wall” is offered as part of the cross-state exhibition “Change of Perspective” at the Kunsthalle St. Annen and the Kunsthalle Rostock.
