Educational Offers in Unkel

Due to the corona-restrictions in place the educational offers are currently suspended.

Our museum is a modern, non-partisan place for contemporary history. We would like to bring school classes, students and other interested parties closer to an important epoch of German post-war history and an equally important politician of this time, Willy Brandt, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1971 for his efforts to reconcile with the eastern neighbours and to redesign Europe.

Per request, we offer tours of the museum specifically tailored to children and young people and provide a quiz sheet. We are happy to provide assistance on specific topics that relate to the life and work of Willy Brandt. The preparation of a visit to the museum with school classes, basic or advanced courses or other learning groups is of course primarily in the hands of the teachers.
